I don't know why I woke up with that kink in my neck

I was in the bathtub reading a book, when I got done this is what I came out and found... I just thought that it was funny that Malana was sleeping with her foot in Travis' face, apparently his chin makes a good foot rest!

So Malana has figured out how to take off her diaper, so today I let her keep it off but made her sit on her potty if she was going to have it off, so that's exactly what she did, but first she dragged the potty into the living room so that she could color while she sat there. I am pretty sure that with art it is supposed to be the model that is naked but not in Malana's case!

Here is the picture, I asked her what it was and she said "ish mommy!!"



When we were getting ready for bed we said our prayers, normally Lana repeats the last word of whatever we say, but last night she said her very first by herself prayer and this is how it went...

"Fafer,
ank ou... daddy
ank ou... mommy
pease (gibberish)...mommy
pease (gibberish)... daddy
pease (gibberish)... a baby
shesus (Jesus)... namen (name amen)"

So you can tell what we say when we help her pray... thank you for mommy and daddy, please bless mommy and daddy, and please help us to have a baby. So cute! It was the best prayer ever, sweet, simple and to the point!

Halloween!!

We had a pretty busy Halloween week! On the Monday before Halloween we carved our pumpkins (homegrown!) Which was fun.

"Punkins" as Lana would say.

On Thursday we dragged Gary and Alisa's family as well as Travis's mom to BOO at the Zoo. Malana really liked all of the animals and she was surprisingly not scared of any of the people dressed up scarily. Although it was pretty crowded so I'm not sure that we would do it again.

Travis was thrilled to be there, can't you tell by the smile on his face!

It was so cute when she would walk because her tail would swish back and forth.

On Friday we went trunk or treating with our ward, it was really nice. Malana loved it! I was a little worried that she would try to pull out every single piece of candy and try to eat it, but she caught on quickly and LOVED it.

Don't even think about touching my candy!! She was so cute she would say trick or treat thank you as if it were one word!

On Saturday my family had a Halloween party at my parents house were we bobbed for apples, played games, ate chili and watched the BYU football game! Malana was a piggy bank and we were the coins. :)
