baby
For those who Are wondereing here is the scoop:
I am nine weeks pregnant tommorrow! Yes it was a suprise! No we were not on any fertility medications, it just happened the old fashioned way. I haven't had a period since January, which I didn't think much of because that is just how my body works. About two or three weeks ago, I started feeling tired ALL OF THE TIME! I was feeling like such a crappy wife and mother because I felt so fatigued that I didn't have the motivation to do much of anything! Then I started feeling a little nauseas all day long! I thought that something was seriously wrong, something with my thyroid, or I had mono, something!?!pregnancy crossed my mind but I didn't take it seriously because that just doesn't happen to us, I mean it took us four years and some serious meds with the other two so who would have thought? I told Travis that I wanted to go to the Dr. because I was starting to get depressed and feeling like a really neglectful mother, I decided to take a pregnancy test just to rule it out and ta-da! it was positive! mystery solved! I made an appointment with the OBGYN and they got me in immediately not knowing how far along I was, the ultra sound gave us the first picture of the cute little peanut, and made it feel really real! I had a little bit of pregnancy fatigue with Sephie but nothing like what I had this time, holy cow it wiped me out! It gave me a new compassion for those of you who struggle with illness that cause chronic fatigue, it gets old quick! Now that I am taking prenatal vitamins, and am not so hard on myself for taking a nap with my kids, I feel much better, but now the nausea is starting to kick in full blown! I am a bit nervous having them so close together, but we are so excited to add another bundle of joy to our family!

the stockings where hung by the chimney with care...
We decided to try a new tradition this year and make sugar cookies together on Christmas Eve day (thanks for the recipe Valerie!). It was a success, we really enjoyed listening to Christmas music and spending time together as a family.
Persephanie got to watch from the sidelines this year, but she enjoyed a graham cracker for a treat. That night we headed to Travis' parent's house for a Christmas Eve dinner, games with the cousins, a visit from Santa and some new PJ's.
This is Malana's nervous look
She got the cute doggy purse from Santa and she wore it with her new doggy jammies. My adorable girls in their new PJ's.
With their cousins.
After Santa came to grandma's house we headed home, so that the real Santa could come and leave us some gifts, Sephie thought the tree was sparkly.
Santa really enjoyed the cookies we left him
Merry late Christmas!
O Christmas Tree!
This year we decided to splurge and buy some Christmas ornaments, I was a little bit in sticker shock at the price but that was what I wanted for Christmas this year. We also bought a real tree and it was BEAUTIFUL! We loved seeing it and smelling it every day!
This cute little girl is growing like a weed, and way, WAY to fast. I want her to stay my baby just a little longer.
She wanted in on the action too!
Merry late Christmas!

We had a lot of fun at our annual Nield family Christmas party this year! We reserved the church and had a lot of fun!
We:
Had a pinata for the little kids...

held a cute baby...

Ate lots of yummy food...
Did out traditional acting out of the nativity while my dad reads the scriptures...

we had a talent/non-talent program...
an ugly shirt contest...
(Travis' sweater light up and he won)
( If you don't know my mom she is a die-hard BYU fan and to her this is the ugliest shirt you could wear)
A white elephant gift exchange fro the adults, mine was the play and shave barbie and Travis' was a Christmas CD by Travy with songs actually song by him, I would put a sample of his music on here but I think that he would kill me!
(This was the CD cover)
(my mom said that this picture of Travis reminds her of the male enhancement commercials with the guy that is always smiling bahahahahah...)
We also had a reindeer find game, played a dice game called captain and the crew. Once again we had a fantastic time together and look forward to next year!
(Nancy thank you for sending me pictures I ended up not having many from the night!)
