eggalicious!

Malana and I spent the afternoon dyeing easter eggs, we practiced her name by writing it on the eggs, then she dipped, re-dipped and dipped again all of her eggs. I let her do it until her hands were green and she broke the first egg. Then we cracked them, shelled them (she thought that was great) and made them into yummy deviled eggs. It took up at least an hour and a half, it was GREAT!

P.S. our kitchen is still in disarray, I started painting that is the paint color behind her, it is a light blue, I really like the way it turned out, but that is the only wall done, sanding the cabinets has slowed us up a bit, but we are almost done with that and almost on to the staining - wahoo! I am supposed to host pre-school on the 6th and I am hoping that it will be at least some what assembled by then - wish us luck!

St. Patty Day and the moon

On St. Patrick's Day a leprechaun came to our house and left Malana bits of his rainbow to follow to his pot of gold! She thought that it was awesome! and it wasn't too hard for the leprechaun either. The leprechaun also turned our milk green which she thought was hilarious!

Another funny Lana story: We were on the way home from Travis' parents house and Malana was in the back laughing hysterically, when we asked her what was so funny she said "the moon is following us, that silly moon!".

Missing in Action

I realized that I hadn't posted in a while we just haven't had a whole lot of blog worthy things going on at our house. So here is an old picture from our ward "Jerusalem" Christmas party.

We moved the computer into the living room so that Malana can play games with me in the same room, and it has worked out really well! She is better at the computer mouse than I am! I can't believe how big she is getting!
