24th of July FUN!

We had a busy 24th of July week! Travis and I drove up to Island park on Wed. night to meet my parents who were there camping. Travis left Thursday morning to go to work (I can't believe that something so beautiful is only an hour from our house!) My parents and I went into Yellowstone Park on Thursday and enjoyed the scenery. They dropped me off at my house on Friday morning.

She insisted on having the mirror and lip gloss and kept herself busy pretty much the whole way to Yellowstone with it.

Malana is fully potty trained (except it seems when we go to Travis' parents house) although she has this thing with foreign potties a.k.a any toilet but her own, but she would pee in the grass so we spent alot of time in the bushes at Yellowstone : ) However I put a diaper on her "just in case" and after trying to get her to go in a toilet in one of the more populated areas of the park and she screamed bloody murder as I tried to make her go on the toilet, I didn't want anyone to think I was abusing her or something so I told her to just pee in her diaper (stubborn little thing!!!!) hence the saggy diaper/underwear over the diaper.

We also discovered that Malana is as allergic to bug bites as I am as shown in the following pictures:

Friday evening Travis and I went to Rexburg to see his family and stopped by at the farmers market. On Saturday morning we went to the St. Anthony parade (I forgot my camera) then Travis' mom watched Malana for the afternoon (thank you Barbara) and Travis and I went to the art walk along the greenbelt. That Night our stake had a 24th of July party with all sorts of fun activities for the kids. All and all we had a great week!

Malana is 100% girl! She has to bring everything with her, she has her purse, her backpack (full of all of the necessary accessories, such as lip gloss a comb, her babies things etc...) her baby in its carrier and a bracelet!

Happy Birthday America!!!

For the fourth of July my mom and I made Malana a "pillowcase dress". We had gone downstairs for a minute and when we came back upstairs this is how we found Malana. CUTE!

On the Fourth of July we went to the Ashton Parade, it is a small town parade with few floats, lots of candy and a place where everyone knows everyone it is alot of fun.

The "Hull" cousins

It is so fun that all of the cousins have someone else their age

I made a strawberry pie for the fourth with strawberries picked from our garden, it was so yummy!

My brother-in-law manages the Ameri-tel in Idaho Falls so we went to Idaho Falls, and sat on the lawn of the hotel to watch the fireworks.
