FAMILY REUNION FUN!!!

For the Nield family reunion this year we went to Fairview Utah, down near Manti. Unfortunately Travis had to work at the last minute and was unable to come with us. We left on Wednesday and stopped at the "Y" some of the family hiked up to it and some of us took the younger children to a nearby park. Then we headed the rest of the way to Fairview. we had two cabins reserved right next to each other and a pool across the street, it was perfect.

On Thursday we went swimming in the morning/afternoon and then that night we went to the "Mormon Miracle Pageant" a.k.a. the "Manti Pageant".

Every time that I tried to get a picture of Malana in her swimming suit she would turn around point to the ruffles on her bum and say "I CUTE"!
And of course the evangelizing Christians who tell you what you believe and are completely wrong but have to sit there and argue with you anyways.

Keeping Trevor and Malana busy with a DVD while waiting for the pageant to start.

No Nield gathering is complete without a game of "Rook"

Friday morning the boys went golfing while the girls made catapults with the kids. Then the girls went to a craft fair and walked around. We were supposed to go to the drive-in that night but the weather didn't cooperate and we ended up staying in the cabin and playing "American Idol on the Wii" and other card games. The adults stayed up until 4:30 that morning talking and enjoying each others company.

Sing it!
On Saturday we rented some four-wheelers in the morning then the adults went on a GPS hunt and the kids had a treasure hunt.

I LOVE GPS HUNTS!

Look at all of that YUMMY candy!!!

That night we went to the church and had a dance, with creative dance shoes. Each family had a song from a different era inspired by this: http://www.theevolutionofdance.com (it's hillarious!)
What creative dance shoes!!!

Chris and Dayna's family doing "Kung Fu Fighting"

Malana and I had the song "Grease Lightning"

On Sunday morning we ate breakfast and headed home! We had a great time! Thanks Dayna for planning everything.

I made it myself!

So I made my blog background and header, I think that it is so cool to learn how to do all of the things that you can to blogs. So if you know of any other way to alter them let me know!

Me: Wow Lana that is a big poop, should we go flush it in the toilet now?(she still uses a training toilet)
Lana: (very upset) NO MOMMY!! NO!!!
Me: What is the matter Lana? Do you want to help me flush it?
Lana: No, I smell it!!!!! (*SNIFFFFFFF*)

Then we went to dinner at Famous Daves, oh so Yummy! After that we went back to the hotel, went swimming and played games with my parents. On Sunday was Travis' Graduation ceremony.

Born in the wrong era?

This is how she came out of her room, with the sweat band, the care bear underwear, and the stylish curls, I think that she should have been born in the 80's. And oh my she looks like her Daddy in this picture!

p.s. those are underwear that she is holding, she carries them around and pretends that they are her babies, or she puts them on her stuffed animals and asks them repeatedly through the day if they have to go potty. Her underwear are her prized possessions and she freaks out if I touch them even if it is to put them away.
