We had a great Christmas this year. It was supposed to be our year at my parent’s house but since they were in Scotland it was a somewhat unusual Christmas. We went to Pocatello on Christmas Eve and had our traditional Nield Christmas party. Including good food, lots of loud kids, laughing, chimes, games and a live nativity put on by the kids. It was great to see everyone and look forward to my parents being there next year.
After the party we left for our house, put Lana to bed and Santa got down to business. Travis and I stayed up until about 1:00 playing games together and had a great time. Malana woke up at about 7:30 and rushed out to see if Santa ate his cookies and what he brought her. She was cute this year and quit delighted by her loot.
Here was what was in our package from across the pond, aren't the booties cute?
After all of the fun package opening we headed to Travis’ mom’s house for Malana to open a few fun gifts and the traditional fondue dinner-Yum!! It was a pretty low key Christmas but also very enjoyable.
