Our adventure to Disneyland!

We started off our trip with Malana's first airplane ride, which she did really well with (except for the one time that she tried to bite my arm because she wanted out of her seat belt).

Then we arrived here:

The Marriott Villa's. They were super, super nice! (this picture was taken from the beach that's how close they were!)

(Travis, my mom, my dad, me, Malana, Tyler, Addy, Amy and Jaxson)

Since we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, we spent our time playing in the sandbox and taking a walk on the beach. (Sometimes I think God is most treasured when admiring his work!)

(you can click on the pictures to make them bigger)
The next morning we headed to Disneyland!!! It was my first time and I think that my eyes were as big as saucers! They pay such close attention to detail and try so hard to keep you happy, it truly is a magical place.

It was a great day! The kids were exhausted by the end, and fell asleep in the car, a perfect ending to a perfect day.

On Tuesday we headed to Sea World. Malana liked the animals when they were caged but she wasn't too fond of being splashed by Shamu. For the dolphin show she hid under the bench. We even talked my parents into riding the roller coaster.

On Wednesday we went to California Adventure. I LOVED the tower of terror and it was by far my favorite ride. Travis got sick on Soarin' over California, but I thought that it was pretty neat. Malana liked playhouse Disney once she realized that they weren't going to spray her with any water.

On Thursday we spent our day in Disneyland again. In the morning we did everything that the kids would like to do and then my mom watched the two girls at the hotel (thanks mom!) and the rest of us went back to Disneyland, rode some rides and watched the fireworks! (at which we had front row seats!)

This is one of my favorite pictures from Disneyland.

On Friday we went to Universal Studios. It was nice because there were less people but the atmosphere is completely different and the only thing that I can figure out is that they let people buy beer there. We had a good time but wished that the kids were a little more cooperative so that we could have spent more time. It was neat to see some of the sets from famous movies. I didn't take many pictures, here is one of Curious George.

On Saturday we went to the wild animal park, we took a safari, rode the carousel and enjoyed a slightly more laid back day. (We stopped at a McDonald's on the way home that had some pretty shady characters and I was more then ready to come back to Idaho.)

That afternoon we spent at the beach relaxing and letting the kids run and scream to their hearts content.

After the beach we watched the sunset from the balcony of the condo, it was the perfect way to end a great week!

Thank you Tyler and Amy for inviting us we had a really great time! (even if Travis often needed a napkin!)
Now we are on to our next adventure, potty training - heaven help!

Really awesome website!

Sorry that I have not posted any pictures in a while, I lost the cord that connects my camera to the computer. (still don't have one!) But I wanted to share with everyone this really awesome website. It is http://www.starfall.com . It is great for toddlers up to kids who are reading. Malana loves the ABC section (but yes at two you have to sit and do it with them!) She is getting really good at identifying letters, and such. So if you have a toddler, preschooler, kindergartner or even older you should check it out! They also have worksheets for each letter etc.. that your kids can fill out, pretty great! So if you go on and check it out, leave me a comment and tell me what you think! (I promise this is not a paid advertisement ;o) )
